Sumona Chakravarti

Sumona Chakravarti is a well-known Indian film and television actress. She has won hearts with her beauty, grace, and acting skills. She is best known for her roles in shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, The Kapil Sharma Show, and Bade Acche Lagte Hain.

Born on 24 June 1988 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Sumona Chakravarti hails from an Indian Hindu family. She did her schooling at Loreto Convent School. After that, she went to Jai Hind College, Mumbai from where she received a graduate degree in economics.

Sumona Chakravarti began her career at the age of 11 with a Bollywood movie ‘Mann’ starring Manisha Koirala and Aamir Khan in the year 1999. She came into limelight for her role as Natasha in the most-watched television serial ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’. In the same year, she appeared alongside Kapil Sharma in the comedy show ‘Kahani Comedy Circus Ki’ on Sony TV. Later, she worked in Comedy Nights with Kapil as Manju Sharma. Currently, she is working in The Kapil Sharma Show where she is playing the role of Bhoori. Apart from acting, she has also done two travel shows, namely Swiss Made Adventures and Dubai Diaries, both on NDTV Good Times.
